About Us

Hey, my name's Christian! I'm a producer and the owner of Volta Studios in Berlin.

I set up Volta Studios in 2019 with the aim of creating an inspirational production space to work with musicians on their heavy / alternative / dark music pursuits. Why this particular musical direction?

Well, after many years working as a fan, musician and songwriter in this direction, I entered the world of recording studios. My interning days were spent learning the tricks of the trade from some of Australia's great rock/alternative producers, as well as musical acts like: Parkway Drive, The Living End and Mindsnare.

Seeing how these professionals went about their work has proven a valuable insight and inspiration to this day, and these skills still form the backbone of my work process. The main takeaway has been a collaborative song writing and development process.
